A FEW GOOD QUESTIONS

Let’s make
things clear.

Can’t find the answer?
Call (202) 391-4826

Who can ride with MAE CARE Solutions?

We serve people across Washington, DC who need non-emergency transportation, including wheelchair users, people with temporary mobility limitations, and people traveling to ongoing treatment. Families, caregivers, and care coordinators can make an inquiry on a rider’s behalf. We will confirm whether a trip and the rider’s needs match our service.

How far in advance should I reach out?

Contact us as early as you can, especially for recurring treatment or a discharge. Share your preferred date and appointment time when we speak. Availability, pickup time, return arrangements, and the service details must be confirmed before a ride is scheduled.

Does Medicaid or insurance cover my ride?

Coverage and transportation authorization depend on your plan. Ask your health plan or transportation broker about eligibility, approval, and how to arrange a covered trip. An inquiry here does not establish coverage or confirm MAE CARE Solutions as an approved provider for your plan. We will discuss payment arrangements before confirming a ride.

Can a caregiver or companion come along?

Please ask when you inquire. Tell us how many people would travel and whether anyone will need a seat or mobility accommodation. We will confirm space and any applicable arrangements before scheduling.

Can I arrange a round trip or recurring transportation?

Yes, you can inquire about one-way, round-trip, or recurring rides. Tell us about the schedule and whether your return time is known. Each arrangement is subject to availability and confirmation.

What happens after I submit an inquiry?

Your inquiry is saved for the MAE CARE Solutions team, and we request an email notification to our business inbox. We will discuss availability and arrangements using your preferred contact method. Submitting does not reserve a vehicle or confirm coverage. Please call (202) 391-4826 for time-sensitive questions.
